Stewart on pole, Franchitti in second row for Nationwide Talladega race

Tony Stewart didn't let rumors about his future get in his way as he grabbed the pole today for the NASCAR Nationwide Aaron's 312 at Talladega Superspeedway, with a qualifying speed of 185.308 mph in the #20 Joe Gibbs Racing Old Spice Toyota.

Dario Franchitti grabbed the row 2 outside position with a qualifying effort of 184.833 mph in the #40 Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates Fastenal Dodge.

Brad Coleman will start 16th in the #27 Baker Curb United States Postal Service Ford after a qualifying effort of 183.287 mph.

Bobby Hamilton Jr. will start 36th after qualifying at 180.816 mph in the #25 Team Rensi Smithfield Ford.

Justin Ashburn will roll off 42nd in the #57 Chad Beahr dverne.net/Fidelity Printing Dodge after posting a qualifying speed of 174.962 mph. (4/25/2008)
