Consultants see two options for the Tennessee State Fair: Move it or Fix it
Tennessee State Fair consultants will recommend today that Metro Nashville either overhaul the fair on its site or redevelop the land south of downtown and build new fairgrounds elsewhere.
If the fair stays, the site would need to be more compatible with surrounding neighborhoods, and the Music City Motorplex would have to leave or change dramatically to make it more financially viable for the city, the consultants say in a report they will present at a public meeting tonight...
