Baker Curb Racing and RFD-TV Partner for Music & Motors

Gear up for the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series season by tuning into the fast-paced life of Baker Curb Racing’s Brad Baker on Music & Motors on RFD-TV.

Music & Motors tracks the Baker Curb Racing teams and driver Brad Baker on and off the race track to highlight the day and life of NASCAR drivers and crew members. Baker stated, “Music & Motors is a unique opportunity to show all the loyal race fans a behind the scenes look at what it takes to run a NASCAR Nationwide Series race team and what the drivers go through on and off the track. It has been a pleasure working with the film crew and RFD-TV during this process.”

Music & Motors show the parallels to being a young driver in a top NASCAR touring series and young aspiring country music artist on “Music Row.” Music & Motors follows up and coming artist trying to find their “big break” in the country music industry and interviews established country music stars such as Joe Nichols and Craig Morgan. Wade Hays, Billboard Magazines Top Male Country Artist in 1995, hosts the program.

Music & Motors emphasizes the fact there is a NASCAR Nationwide Series race team in Music City USA and that the owners of the race team have been associated with both the music and racing industry. Gary Baker has been an attorney for top country music artists as well as once owning the famed Bristol Motor Speedway and Nashville Speedway. Mike Curb is the owner of long-time record label Curb Records as well as fielding racecars in many different racing divisions over the years including cars for Richard Petty and the late Dale Earnhardt.

Patrick Gottsch, Founder and President of RFD-TV LLC, proclaimed, “We are so proud to be associated with Gary Baker and Mike Curb, who’s vision to combine two of rural America’s passion, Nashville music and NASCAR racing, into a new weekly television show is another strike of genius. We have no doubt that Music & Motors is going to be a huge success on RFD-TV and RFD HD.”

Brad Baker drove the #37 RFD-TV Ford Fusion in the July 4th running of the Winn Dixie 250 powered by Coca-Cola in Daytona to introduce the Music & Motors television program. Film crews followed Baker in July at Daytona for the weekly series. Music & Motors airs on Sunday’s at 6:00 PM CT and re-airs on Tuesday’s at 3:30 PM CT on RFD-TV. (1/6/2009)(Baker Curb Racing PR)
