Nashville racing legends will be on hand Saturday night (11th) as Fairgrounds Speedway inducts five new members into the Fairgrounds Speedway Racing Hall of Fame.
Sterling Marlin, Chad Chaffin, Joe Buford, Marty Robbins and a mystery inductee will join the hall on Saturday. The ceremony will take place during the intermission. In the near future, the Fairgrounds Speedway plans to have a designated area at the track with memorabilia, video, and photos of Hall of Fame members for fans to enjoy for many years to come.
Previous inductees include Darrell Waltrip, Flookie Buford, Bob Reuther, the late Coo Coo Marlin and Andy Kirby.
Fans will have eight classes of racing to enjoy, including Front Runners and Limited Late Models. The Late Models and Super Trucks top the card.
