Dario Franchitti was 6th on the speed chart during the second practice Friday for the Indycar race on the streets of Toronto. The Williamson County resident recorded a speed of 102.029 mph in the #10 Target Chip Ganassi Racing Dallara Honda. Franchitti was on the course for 25 laps with the 21st circuit being the fastest.
He was 7th on the chart for the first practice earlier Friday, when he recorded a speed of 101.094 mph.
Richard Antinucci was 20th in the second session at 98.836 mph. He had the #98 CURB/Agajanian/Team 3G Novicomm LED Lighting Technology Dallara Honda on the course for 27 laps with the 15th being the quickest trip around.
Antinucci was 21st in speed in the first session at 98.090 mph.
Will Power led the first session at 101.619 mph, while Raphael Matos topped the second session at 102.775 mph. (7/10/2009)
