Thompsons Station driver Cody Buford was 12th-fastest during the first practice session Thursday for the Polar Bear 150 at Rockingham Speedway. Buford turned a lap at The Rock in 30.513 seconds. Steve Hadely of Lebanon did not participate in the session.
Chuck Barnes topped the speed chart for the day with a lap completed in 29.744 seconds. 54 cars participated in the session.
