Dario Franchitti won his first SPEED Performance Award for Best Comeback following his championship win in his return to the IZOD IndyCar Series.
"It’s a great pleasure to win this award. It’s great to be back in the IndyCar Series and to win the championship in the first year gave me a lot of satisfaction,” said Franchitti. “I’ve got to thank the whole Target team for giving me the equipment and the back up to do that job. This is as much for them as it is for me because without those guys we would never have done it. Thank you to everyone that voted. Roll on 2010.”
The fan-voted SPEED Performance Awards featured drivers across fifteen different racing series in nine categories. (2/5/2010)(Target Chip Ganassi Racing)
