The NASCAR Nationwide Series is in Bristol this weekend for the Scotts Turf Builder 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The preliminary entry list shows the following drivers we will be covering:
- Willie Allen #05 (Day Enterprises 31W Insulation Chevy)
- Greg Biffle #27 (Baker Curb Racing Redman Moist Snuff Ford)
- Scott Lagasse Jr. #43 (Baker Curb Racing Ford)
Thursday, March 18:
Baker Curb Racing owner, Gary Baker, will be a guest on The Morning Drive on Sirius NASCAR 128 Friday morning at 7:30 CDT to share stories from his days of owning Bristol Motor Speedway.
Friday, March 19:
During the first run of the first practice session, Greg Biffle reported the car was a little low to the ground, so the Baker Curb team is making adjustments.
Scott Lagasse Jr. was slow during his first laps in the session. He said the car was loose. After adjustments Lagasse said the car was much better but still needs some adjustments.
About midway thru the session, Biffle said his car needs to turn better. After adjustments, he said the car was much better. Biffle said it was a tick free, but feels the track will get tighter and take care of that.
Greg Biffle wound up eighth fastest on the speed chart for the first practice session, recording a lap at 120.135 mph in the #27 Red Man Moist Snuff Ford. He was on the track for 52 laps.
Scott Lagasse Jr. was 28th in speed at 118.855 mph in the #43 Dr. Gadget Ford. He was out for 50 laps.
Willie Allen was 42nd in the #05 31-W Insulation Chevy at 117.884 mph. He was on the track for 56 laps.
Danny O'Quinn Jr. topped the session at 121.836 mph in the #90 D'Hondt Humphrey Motorsports Chevy.

Greg Biffle was seventh-fastest during the second practice session, turning a fast lap at 122.217 mph of the 38 circuits he made during the session.
Willie Allen was 41st in speed at 119.269 mph. He too was out for 38 laps.
Scott Lagasse Jr. managed only 18 laps and was 42nd on the speed chart at 119.254 mph.

Saturday, March 20:
Greg Biffle will start 5th today after qualifying at 123.443 mph.
Willie Allen will start 17th after a qualifying run at 121.829 mph.
Scott Lagasse Jr. will roll off 27th with his qualifying speed of 121.129 mph.
Brad Keselowski will start from the pole after qualifying at 124.557 mph. Click here for the complete starting lineup.

1:48 pm: Green Flag!
1:51 pm: After 7 lap Allen is back to 21st.
1:52 pm: After 12 laps Biffle is up to 4th. Leaders already lapping traffic.
1:55 pm: After 22 laps Lagasse is up to 26th. This race is scheduled for 300 laps. As always, we are using Nashville time (CDT).
1:57 pm: After 27 laps Kyle Busch leads.
1:57 pm: Yellow Flag. Brian Keselowski was pushed into the outside wall, possibly by James Buescher.
1:59 pm: A few cars are making pit stops.
2:00 pm: The leaders have remained on the track. Biffle is 6th with 33 laps complete.
2:01 pm: Green Flag! Busch jumps ahead of Joey Logano for the lead.
2:02 pm: Willie Allen is 26th after 38 laps.
2:03 pm: Biffle says the car is a little free, especially in the corners.
2:05 pm: Lagasse is 28th after 46 laps.
2:06 pm: Lagasse came in during the first caution for fuel and a trackbar adjustment. Scott says the car seems to be handling a little better.
2:07 pm: Yellow Flag. Debris on the frontstretch. Several cars stopping now.
2:08 pm: Kyle Busch stays out and continues to lead.
2:10 pm: Biffle is 4th after 56 laps.
2:11 pm: Green Flag! Busch again jumps to the high line to lead, Biffle up to 2nd right behind him.
2:13 pm: Lagasse stopped again during the last caution, this time for 4 tires, and they pulled a rubber out of the left rear. Car is getting better getting into corners but too tight off
2:15 pm: Willie Allen is up to 15th after 67 laps.
2:16 pm: Biffle is third after 74 laps. Busch still leads and Kasey Kahne is second.
2:17 pm: New leader - Kasey Kahne.
2:18 pm: Lagasse is 28th after 83 laps.
2:20 pm: Yellow flag. Crash started in turn 1. Steven Wallace, Brian Scott and Colin Braun. Wallace's car is on fire.
2:22 pm: Just before the caution came out, Lagasse said the car is still too tight off the corners.
2:22 pm: Everyone appears to be alright.
2:24 pm: The Red Flag has been put out while the track is cleared.
2:25 pm: After 90 of 300 laps, Biffle is 3rd, Allen is 18th and still on the lead lap, and Lagasse is 28th, one lap down.
2:27 pm: Lagasse said the car is really tight center off. The changes helped in the entry of the turns but has made the exit worse.
2:29 pm: Kasey Kahne is the leader as we are still under the red flag.
2:34 pm: Yellow Flag. The cars are back underway on the track. Leaders to the pits. Trackbar adjustment for Biffle and Sunoco fuel.
2:36 pm: We were under the red flag for 12:13.
2:37 pm: Green Flag! Scott Wimmer leads as he did not stop.
2:39 pm: Biffle is 10th after 98 laps.
2:40 pm: Wholesale changes that last stop for Lagasse: air pressure, trackbar and put two rubbers back in. Biffle was blocked while in the pits and lost several positions.
2:42 pm: Willie Allen is 24th after 110 laps.
2:43 pm: Kasey Kahne re-takes the lead. Biffle up to 9th.
2:44 pm: Lagasse is 23rd after 120 laps.
2:45 pm: Yellow Flag. Two cars in the wall - James Buescher and Coleman Pressley. Trevor Bayne was also involved.
2:48 pm: The caution came at the perfect time for Kasey Kahne as his car was about to overheat.
2:49 pm: Carl Edwards leads after 127 laps.
2:54 pm: Green Flag!
2:56 pm: Biffle said Trevor Bayne ran him up into the wall that last run and the car has been really tight since. Damaged fenders a little but not major.
2:57 pm: Yellow Flag. Kyle Busch got into the rear of Kelly Bires and spun him into the wall. Many leaders coming in but Biffle stays out. Edwards overshoots his pit stall.
3:00 pm: Changes made during the previous caution seems to have helped Lagasse. He is up to 11th.
3:01 pm: Green Flag! Biffle leads!
3:02 pm: Biffle has now led in all four races this season.
3:04 pm: Lagasse also stayed out during that last caution and is up to 7th after 157 laps. Biffle still leads.
3:05 pm: Willie Allen is up to 16th after 164 laps, still on the lead lap.
3:07 pm: Biffle still leads. He says his car is too tight to run on the bottom. Brendan Gaughan is challenging Biffle.
3:09 pm: Lagasse back to 9th after 177 laps.
3:11 pm: Justin Allgair to 2nd. Biffle still leads.
3:11 pm: Yellow Flag! Wreck involving Kayne, Gaughan, Shelby Howard. Biffle snuck thru the spinning cars. Tony Raines also involved.
3:13 pm: The incident happened right in front of Biffle, who was leading. Hard on the brakes and Biffle avoided hitting anything.
3:16 pm: Kenny Wallace and Trevor Bayne was also involved. Biffle in for fuel, four tires and no adjustments.
3:20 pm: Green Flag! Jason Leffler takes lead from Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on the restart.
3:21 pm: Yellow Flag! Debris on the frontstretch near the flagstand.
3:24 pm: Green Flag! Brad Keselowski takes lead from Leffler on the restart.
3:25 pm: Yellow Flag! Joe Nemecheck spins after being tapped by Derrike Cope.
3:28 pm: 26 cars remain on the lead lap.
3:30 pm: Green Flag. Keselowski jumps out front.
3:31 pm: Biffle said the car is a little tight and if he pits again he wants a wedge adjustment.
3:32 pm: Biffle is 3rd after 220 laps.
3:33 pm: Lagasse is 14th after 223 laps.
3:35 pm: Willie Allen is 18th after 227 laps. Keselowski has opened up a lead over Leffler. Biffle still 3rd.
3:35 pm: Yellow Flag. Coleman Pressley and Mike Bliss got together.
3:38 pm: #27 crew was on the wall waiting to come over but Biffle stayed out.
3:39 pm: Green Flag. Brad Keselowski again jumps to the lead.
3:41 pm: Lagasse 12th after 237 laps.
3:42 pm: Biffle is 6th after 240 laps.
3:43 pm: Willie Allen still 18th after 245 laps.
3:44 pm: Yellow Flag. Ricky Stenhouse spins down the frontstretch after being tapped. Radiator is leaking.
3:48 pm: Green Flag! Keselowski again gets a huge jump.
3:50 pm: Biffle is 5th after 259 laps.
3:51 pm: Looks life Biffle can get thru the corners a little lower now.
3:51 pm: Yellow Flag. Josh Wise, John Wes Townley, Jason Keller and Tony Raines involved.
3:54 pm: Eric McClure also involved.
3:57 pm: Green Flag! Keselowski again starts from the outside, but Allgair gets the jump and takes the lead.
3:58 pm: Biffle is 8th after 274 laps.
4:00 pm: Willie Allen up to 13th after 277 laps.
4:00 pm: Lagasse is 15th after 282 laps.
4:02 pm: During last caution Lagasse came in for fresh tires and a small trackbar adjustment.
4:03 pm: Biffle 7th after 293 laps. Keselowski is challenging Allgair for the lead.
4:04 pm: White Flag!
4:05 pm: Justin Allgair wins with teammate Brad Keselowski second. Big day for Roger Penske. Joey Logano spun and hit the wall on the last turn and dropped from 5th to 14th.
4:07 pm: Logano got huge help getting dumped by Kevin Harvick. As Logano walks off the track he looks very upset.
4:09 pm: Greg Biffle finished 6th, Scott Lagasse Jr. was 13th and Willie Allen finished 15th, all on the lead lap.
