In session three Fisher was 26th at 86.186 mph. Mike Garvey paced the session at 89.854 mph.

Fisher was 23rd in the second session (87.347 mph) with Chase Elliott setting the pace at 89.798 mph.
Fisher then qualified 33rd-fastest at 85.770 mph. Elliott set fast time with a speed of 90.915 mph. Fisher will need to compete in a 15-lap Last Chance race on Sunday, where he will start on the outside of the sixth row.
